Homelink

What is Homelink?

HomeLink is a secure, private online resource which allows parents and students to access students’ grades, attendance and other educational data online. Once an account is established, that account will follow the student as long as s/he attends school in the Mt. Diablo Unified School District. Parents and students can see assignments, attendance, grades and grading periods. Parents and students must each establish online HomeLink accounts in order to view all records.

How do I get started?

1. A parent/guardian must pick up an individual, private HomeLink verification code and letter from the school office. This code will only be given to a parent/guardian who verifies their identity by presenting a picture ID, which also verifies the address of the student contained in the district database. Only one parent/guardian per student will be given this code. If the code needs to be shared, the original signer will be responsible for sharing with others, not the school. Once you have registered online with your verification code, the code will not be needed again unless additional accounts are established. Please store the alphanumeric code in a safe place.

2. After receiving your HomeLink letter and verification code in person from the school office, follow the instructions in the letter to establish your account. On the HomeLink page, there is an FAQ section and a link to email for assistance in the event that you have additional questions or issues.

What kinds of accounts are there?

1.  Parent/Guardian Accounts – Access all student information, grades, transcripts, attendance data and more.

2.  Student Accounts – Access all grades, transcripts and attendance data.

What can I see?

When you are on HomeLink, you will see tabs entitled, “Home”, “Student Information”, “Attendance” and “Grades”.

Under “Student Information”, you will be able to see the information we have on record for your student. If you need to make changes, you must contact the school office. The student’s account does not have access to all contact information, so this is the responsibility of the parent/guardian.

Parents/guardians will be able to access their student’s assignment and grade records in each teacher’s online gradebook under the “Grades” tab. Please note that teachers will not be updating grades on a daily basis, but within a reasonable timeframe, depending on the assignment.
