Early Lunch Dismissal:  All classes in the “D” wing

TUPE Club Meeting:  TODAY, A3 during lunch

Green Club Meeting:  TODAY, C8 during lunch

Art Club Meeting:  TODAY, C3 during lunch

CJSF:  CJSF meeting Thursday at 2:15 in the Jaguar Den. Members should attend to hear important information about the activities for the rest of the school year.

Mini Concert:  Our strings and cadet band will be giving a concert Thursday evening at 7PM in the MU.

All Tardies Count:  Dear Students, beginning 4th quarter, ALL tardies count towards disqualification of reward activities on campus.  SIX tardies will place you on the Non-Participation list!  The 4th quarter reward is Field Day--get to each class on time, every day, so that you may attend!

Fundraiser-See’s Candy:  See’s fundraising packets were distributed Tuesday during period 1.  Orders are due to the office no later than Tuesday, March 26.  Orders will be ready for pick up on Wednesday, April 10.

Young Writer’s Contest:   Annual contest open to all middle school students in Contra Costa County.  Contest includes the following categories:  short story, poetry, personal narrative, and humor.  Deadline is 9:00 PM on March 25.  Prizes for all categories.

21st Annual Art and Writing Challenge:  As an artist, take this opportunity to convey your hopes and visions for a more peaceful future.  Prizes will be awarded, from $25-$500.  See your teacher for more details or go to:  https://tinyurl.com/2019CAPS.

Flag Football:  It's time for VVMS Football tryouts!  The VVMS Flag Football Team is coeducational and we offer a "B" Team, which is for 6th/7th graders, and an "A" team, which is for 7th/8th graders.  The tryout dates are listed below. You must attend the tryouts for your specific grade level. The teams will be selected and team lists posted on the VVMS PE office door, Monday morning, April 8. Practice schedule will also be posted.  All tryouts will go from 2:30 - 4:-30 under the solar panels.  Bring a water bottle!  If you have questions, contact Coach Salmon.

6th graders: Tuesday, March 26

7th graders: Wednesday, March 27

8th graders: Thursday, March 28

 

Final Wrist Band House Points Total:

Sapphire: 20 students = 400 points                                    Topaz: 4 students = 80 points

Ruby: 6 students = 120 points                                  Onyx: 3 students = 60 points

Emerald: 5 students = 100 points                            Amethyst: 2 students = 40 points
