Computers in the cafeteria

Computers are available in the cafeteria for students to charge their breakfast and lunch to their meal accounts. Once the accounts are set up, students will need to enter their 7-digit student ID number into a keypad to have the food charged to their account. Students should be encouraged to memorize these numbers as soon as possible. New students should receive their numbers over the summer. Sometimes students' numbers appear with nine digits, including two zeros at the beginning. Those two zeros should be ignored.


School meal accounts

Cafeteria pictureStudents who choose not to bring their lunch or who eat breakfast at school may purchase meals from the cafeteria or the a la carte menu. Students may prepay for their meals by putting money into a meal account. The account can be replenished by cash or check (to Valley View Cafeteria) in the lunch line, or via credit card (see article below).

Debit cards may not be used. You may also request a report on the charges made to the account, listing the items purchased. Contact Christa Doan for more information.

 Important Information:

  • Titan School Solutions is the only way to pay by credit card to your students meal account. All MDUSD schools will continue to accept cafeteria payments by cash or check.
  • It can take up to 2 school days for a transaction to post to your child’s school meal account. Need lunch that day? Cash or checks still work!

 To begin the process:

Parents/Guardians, click on this link to register.  (Must be 18 years of age or older.)

Then select your child’s school and add each child using the child’s name and birthdate or ID number.

To determine your child’s ID number, check homelink or select the “request student ID link”.

Although there is an option to select your child by birth date, the system may not always find your child. In this case, please add student using Student ID.

Add money to each student’s account using a credit or debit card. All payments are securely processed using a highly secure website. Please remember that it can take up to 2 days for your payment to post.

If you have a student who has graduated or moved out of district and would like a refund or transfer balance to a sibling, please email your student’s name, ID number (both students for transfers) and mailing address (for refunds).

Free and Reduced meal program

Families with financial need may apply for free or reduced lunches. A new form must be filled out every year. Instructions, forms and letters to households can be found below.
