REPORT CARDS
Report cards are issued each nine weeks. The purpose of the report card is to provide an opportunity for your teachers to inform you and your parents of your school progress. Report cards are sent home with students the first and third quarter and semester report cards are mailed home the second and fourth quarter.
PROGRESS REPORTS
Progress reports are issued to all students the fifth week of each quarter in order to notify students who are in danger of failing. Teachers may make comments to praise student work or to report problems in behavior or achievement. No student shall receive an 'F' quarter grade without receiving a progress report grade of 'D' or lower. Progress reports are issued to students who have grades below a ‘C’ and are sent home with students. It is the parents' responsibility to ask their children for progress reports midway through each quarter.
NON PARTICIPATION LIST- Students will be placed on academic probation if their GPA is below 2.0 and/or if they receive two or more 'F's' in a quarter. Students with a cumulative average over three quarters below 2.0 in two or more classes may be considered for retention. Students on the non-participation list may not attend reward events such as dances and other social events.
